Creating a safe, supportive and purposeful place to learn
At Enriching Education, the safety, wellbeing and individual needs of every young person come first.
We keep our groups intentionally small so that we can get to know each pupil properly and provide the level of support they need. We work closely with schools, families and other professionals to make sure placements are safe, purposeful and built around clear individual outcomes.
As a non-school alternative provision, we recognise the importance of giving schools and families confidence in both the quality of education we provide and the systems that sit behind it.

Personalised placements
A placement with Enriching Education is not intended to be a one-size-fits-all programme.
We work with the pupil, their school and family to understand what has made education difficult to access and what we can realistically do differently. This helps us create a qualified teacher-led personalised curriculum that reflects the pupil's needs, interests, starting point and next steps.
Our timetable and curriculum remain flexible so that reasonable adjustments can be made where this will help a pupil engage, participate and make meaningful progress.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and is central to every part of our provision.
Appropriate safeguarding and recruitment checks are completed for staff working with young people, and clear procedures are in place for recording, reporting and responding to concerns.
Schools commissioning a placement can request relevant safeguarding and compliance information as part of their own due-diligence process.
Working with schools and families
Good alternative provision works best when everyone remains involved.
We maintain regular communication with the commissioning school and, where appropriate, parents/carers and other professionals. Placements are reviewed against agreed outcomes so that progress, attendance, engagement and the pupil's next steps remain at the centre of decision-making.
Our aim is not simply to provide somewhere different for a young person to attend. We want each placement to help them reconnect with learning, develop confidence and move towards a positive and sustainable next step.
