A different route back into learning.
Enriching Education is a new 'non school' Alternative Provision that supports pupils of school age engage with learning that is personalised and meaningful to their needs. We aim to provide a structured route back into education by following a bespoke curriculum which works in partnership with the mainstream school and national curriculum.
All our lessons are taught by qualified teachers who also become the pupils key worker.
Qualified teacher-led lessons
Part-time, small group education placements for school age pupils who are struggling to access or engage with mainstream education, delivered by experienced qualified teachers at a hight pupil to staff ratio.
Engaging curriculum designed to inspire
A strong academic core of literacy, numeracy and science, combined with engaging Business and Enterprise learning, PSHE, life skills, social development and preparation for adulthood.
Free Transport
As part of our package all pupils are collected by a key worker and dropped either back to their registered school for lessons or home for their online learning programme.
In March 2026 I was awarded a High Sheriff of Hampshire Community Award

I have worked in secondary education for more than 18 years as a qualified teacher, curriculum leader and recently qualified SENCo, teaching and supporting young people across mainstream and specialist settings in Hampshire and beyond. My professional background is principally in Business and Enterprise education, alongside experience of Economics, ICT, Digital Skills and vocational learning, and I have held a range of curriculum, pastoral and school leadership responsibilities throughout my career.
Over those years, I have worked with many bright and capable young people who, for a variety of reasons, have found it increasingly difficult to access a traditional mainstream school environment. For some, SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, poor attendance or previous experiences of education have created significant barriers to learning. I have seen how quickly a young person can become defined by their attendance or behaviour when, underneath this, there is often a pupil who simply needs education to be delivered differently.
Enriching Education grew from my belief that a different environment should never mean lower expectations.
I wanted to create a small, nurturing and purposeful alternative provision where young people can rebuild their relationship with education while continuing to learn, make progress and prepare properly for adulthood.
As a qualified teacher and SENCo, I bring together academic teaching and SEND-informed practice. Our curriculum uses Business and Enterprise as an engaging foundation through which pupils can develop practical English and maths, communication, confidence, independence and employability skills, alongside PSHE, life skills and preparation for their next destination.
We will keep groups intentionally small, understand each young person as an individual and work closely with their school, family and other professionals to create a qualified teacher-led personalised curriculum for each pupil. Our staff to pupil ratio remains very generous for the area.
My ambition is simple: to provide young people who may have struggled within mainstream education with another route to succeed; not an easier education, but one that is better suited to helping them re-engage, achieve and move forward.
